We are a high ownership team that includes many highly skilled technicians while still being farmers at heart.
Along with serving customers, we operate a 600 acre farm that provides real-time learning and testing situations for continued outreach.
We are seeking an experienced and talented Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate for this position has experience diagnosing and fixing equipment, as well as a strong dedication to customer service.
A qualified technician will most likely be working in our shop on a daily basis.
We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable in this environment and has the ability to work with others or independently.
Duties and Responsibility Install and setup of planters and planter systems Use shop tools for more detailed tasks Clean, inspect, test, and rebuild planter meters Clean, inspect, and rebuild row cleaners, and other bearings Accountability to document billable hours and supplies used Works Safely, and is aware of dangers of working on farm machinery Be a team player, and hop into various projects as skills and time allow Required Skills and Abilities Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Desire to document clearly to pass work to others Communicate Effectively with others Adapt to multiple demands and changing priorities High school diploma or equivalent Benefits Health Insurance & HRA-style reimbursement Paid Time Off IRA Matching Paid Training Profit Sharing / Bonuses Additional hours available Pay:
