Maple Leaf Farms, the number one duck producer in North America is looking for an EMT or LPN who will support Production Operations on 3rd shift.
Occupational health experience is helpful, but not required.
Registered Nurse responsibilities include:
Monitoring employee health and encouraging better choices, Meeting health and safety standards to reduce work-related injuries, and Educating the workforce about the requirements to minimize the risks they may face.
Position accountable for activities related to health, safety and wellness of company employees.
Responsible for providing managed care of workers' compensation, controlling medical costs, providing post-offer fit for duty screening, and implementing wellness and safety programs within the company.
EMT or LPN License required and previous experience in the nursing profession.
Experience in an industry-related field or trauma center is preferred.
